Mike Stark
Mike was born in Roswell, New Mexico, the son of a U.S. Air Force pilot. Reared in Roswell, New Mexico; Biloxi, Mississippi; Tucson, Arizona; and following his father’s retirement form the Air Force, Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Mike has served two previous churches in fulltime ministry in Salinas, California, and Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Mike is married to Becky an elementary school teacher in Fort Smith. They have two grown sons, Christopher and Joshua. Mike has a B.A. from Oklahoma Baptist University in history and political science; a Master of Divinity, from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary; and certificates in advanced studies in Clinical Pastoral Education from Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Northwest Health System in Springdale, Arkansas. Mike’s desire is to meet the pastoral care needs of individuals and families by helping them recognize spiritual needs and connect with spiritual resources. Mike also loves empowering senior adults to remain fruitful in their service to God through their church and relationships with others.
