Join Pastor Jeff Crawford and Pastor Scott Ward for a unique week of adventure, fun, and spiritual connection with Jesus Christ through the beauty of God's creation in the high desert of Southern Utah.  Arches National Park is a place unlike any other on planet earth.  We will enjoy the depths of the park through camping and hiking the many miles of trails including a special ranger-only guided tour of the park's feature hike-The Fiery Furnace.

This trip is designed specifically for fathers and their sons plus any other adventurous men.  Please note that the camping temperatures can be as low as 32 degrees at night during this time of year, but the days are expected to be in the upper-50's to mid-60's.  This is a hiking/exploration adventure, and the hiking is categorized as moderate to mildly strenuous at elevations of over 5,000 feet.  Because of this, the trip is limited to:

  • Young men ages 13 and up.

  • Men in general good health.

There are 20 spots available for the Iron Man Adventure Trek.  First come-first serve.

Cost: $190/person
  • $50/person non-refundable deposit due at sign-up
  • $100/person due on February 9, 2012
  • Balance due on March 12, 2012

Cost includes:
  • Transportation in church vans to and from Arches National Park
  • Hotel in Albuquerque, NM on the way out and Amarillo, TX on the way home
  • Three and a half days of adventure in Southern Utah
  • Cabin lodging for one night in Moab, Utah, the night before entering the park
  • All park entry fees, camping fees, guided ranger fees, etc.

Cost does not include:
  • Food.  You will need to provide money for your own food while we travel.  We will be able to obtain grocery items for breakfast and lunch at a local grocery store in Moab.  Plan to eat in Moab for dinner at least two nights.
  • Equipment.  Provide your own tents, hiking gear, cooking materials, etc.

Note on cost:
  • The above price is based on 20 people.  Cost could be adjusted slightly based on actual sign-ups and those riding the vans.
  • If you choose to drive your own vehicle the cost of the trip would be $60 less per person.
