1934 – Grand Avenue Baptist Church was planted for God’s purposes
1937 – Dedication of a first sanctuary and educational space
1951 – Second sanctuary built; first sanctuary remodeled into classrooms
1966 – Education Building on the corner of 40th & Grand completed
1975 – Activities Building dedicated; designed as a multi-purpose facility-building still in use today
1978 – Church voted to enter a three year fund raising campaign to build a new sanctuary
1980 – Dedication of the 40,000 sq ft sanctuary which is still in use today
1985 – Dedication of the Adult Educational Building
1998 – The newly renovated Children’s Ministry Center was dedicated
2002 – The old chapel was remodeled into the student facility called The Refuge
2006 – Construction complete on the 6,000 sq ft Helping Hand Ministry Center
2008 – Board of Overseers began studying facility transformations to remodel Worship Center
2011 – Renovations of the Worship Center completed
